How Does this Calculation Work for the Reverb Fee?

Reverb is an online platform where users can buy & sell their items just like other platforms such as Amazon, eBay, and Etsy.

If you’re a seller and looking to sell something via reverb, you will be responsible for paying these charges:

1. Reverb Fee
2. Payment processing fee

Reverb Fee:

Reverb applies a 5% fee to each sold item, which covers the listing price and shipping cost.

Typically, sellers are responsible for paying this fee. Unlike other online marketplaces, Reverb’s charges are relatively low.

Payment processing fee:
When a buyer buys a product through these online platforms, they send money to them.

Then the platform sends this payment to the seller’s account via PayPal or through other services.

This processing method is called a payment processing fee. Reverb provides two methods for PPF. You can either use Reverb or PayPal for PPF.

Reverb generally charged 3.19% + $0.39 while Paypal charged 3.49% + $0.49.

PayPal Fee

Usually, the PayPal fee is divided into two parts: (1) For Domestic and (2) For International. For domestic transactions, PayPal will charge 3.49% + $0.49, while for international transactions, you will pay 4.99% + $0.49.

How much is the Reverb bump fee?

Reverb typically charges a bump fee only when a seller boosts or sponsors their listing.

Sellers don’t need to worry about making this payment in advance. Once your item sells, 0.5% to 5% will be deducted from the total sale price.

Who pays for shipping on Reverb?

Buyers on Reverb usually pay for shipping when purchasing a product. Many sellers offer free shipping to attract more customers, but this doesn’t mean that nobody pays for shipping.

Reverb charges shipping costs to sellers, but buyers are not responsible for this expense.
